This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and payments are handled by Four Winds Drafting LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) for drafting and design services. By engaging our services, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Deposits

  • A deposit is typically required before work begins

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, as they secure project time and resources

  • If work has not yet begun, deposit refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis

 

3. Payments for Services

  • Clients are responsible for payment for all work completed, regardless of project status

  • Payments made for completed work are non-refundable

  • Final deliverables may be withheld until full payment is received

 

4. Project Cancellations

 
a. By the Client

If you choose to cancel a project:

  • You will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date

  • Any remaining balance for completed work must be paid before project closure

  • Refunds for unused portions of prepaid services may be considered at our discretion

 
b. By Four Winds Drafting LLC

We reserve the right to cancel a project due to:

  • Lack of communication

  • Non-payment

  • Inappropriate or abusive behavior

In such cases:

  • The client will be invoiced for work completed

  • Any refundable amount will be determined based on work not yet performed

5. Revisions and Dissatisfaction

  • Reasonable revisions are included as outlined in your project agreement

  • Refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction if services were delivered as agreed

  • We encourage clients to request revisions to resolve concerns

 

6. Scope Changes

  • Changes outside the agreed project scope may result in additional charges

  • Refunds will not be issued due to misunderstandings about scope if the original agreement was followed

7. Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Client inaction or late responses

  • Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client

  • Third-party service disruptions

Refunds will not be issued due to delays outside our control.

 

8. Third-Party Costs

Any fees paid to third parties (e.g., permitting fees, printing services, software subscriptions) are non-refundable.

 

9. File Delivery

  • Final files will be delivered upon full payment

  • Once final files have been delivered, no refunds will be issued

 

10. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests outside of this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

 

11. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • Clients agree to contact us first to resolve any payment concerns

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

    • Immediate suspension of services

    • Collection efforts for unpaid balances
